Watershed
Advocacy
The Saugus River Watershed Council
provides written comments and testifies at public hearings
during the environmental permitting process for major

on the natural resources of the watershed. Our priorities
include protecting buffer zones, preventing increased
stormwater pollution, and protecting fisheries. Some of
the projects we are currently monitoring and commenting
on include:
- Redevelopment
of the Sheraton Colonial Property (212 acres) (Lynnfield,
Wakefield)
