Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site

The Saugus River Watershed Council will host its annual picnic and children's festival at the Saugus Iron Works on Wednesday, 25 June 2008, from 6:00 p.m. to dusk. This free event will include live acoustic music by “Kirsten and Dave” , children's art contest, and a variety of games and hands-on environmental activities for the whole family.

 

At 7:00 Paul Erickson will provide a “river theme” song and dance program especially for young children.  Bring a picnic dinner and blanket or lawn chair for a relaxing evening at the Iron Works. Complimentary drinks and dessert will be provided. Raindate : Thursday, 26 June 2008.  This event is handicap accessible.
