Secrets of the Saugus River

The Metropolitan District Commission’s Camp Nihan Environmental Education Center will host programs for children to explore the plant and animal world of the Saugus River watershed. Through hands-on activities and games, children will learn about the importance of the river to wildlife and people. These programs are 1.5 hours in length and are suitable for grades K-5. Programs are tailored to the students’ age level. For registration or more information, please contact Mathew Nash at (617) 727-5380 x205.

Biodiversity Days

Schools, community groups and members of the public are encouraged to attend free nature walks sponsored by the Metropolitan District Commission as part of Biodiversity Days.
