2002 Canoe Trip Schedule Explore Rumney Marsh and the Pines River Directions: Trips depart from Rumney Marsh. Entrance located along “marsh road”, Route 107 South, Saugus. Saturday, 27 July, 1:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. (raindate: Sunday, 28 July @ 2:00 p.m.) Saturday, 10 Aug., 12:15 p.m.- 2:15 p.m. (raindate: Sunday, 11 Aug. @ 1:00 p.m.) Saturday, 24 Aug., 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. (raindate: Sunday, 25 Aug. @ 12:30 p.m.) Saturday, 7 Sept., 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (raindate: Sunday, 8 Sept. @ 11:30 a.m.) Saugus River Fall Foliage Trips Directions: Meet at Stocker Playground, Winter St., Saugus (behind the Saugus Glass Company). Saturday, 5 Oct., 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (raindate: Sunday, 6 Oct. @ 10:30 a.m.) Saturday, 19 Oct., 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (raindate: Sunday, 20 Oct. @ 10:30 a.m.) Registration Reservations are required for all Saugus River Watershed Council canoe trips. We recommend early registration as most trips fill up fast and are booked on a first come basis. Several canoes, paddles, and life jackets are available by reservation.
