Srping 2002 Currents

Adopt-a-Trail
Breakheart Reservation

Thanks to the initiative of Pat Haney, the Saugus River Trail at Breakheart Reservation will be maintained on a regular basis.

As a member of both the Saugus River Watershed Council and Friends of Breakheart Reservation, Pat has agreed to “adopt” the Saugus River Trail, a popular hiking trail which runs along the Saugus River at Breakheart.

Pat will be responsible for picking up trash along the trail, clearing the trail of debris, and coordinating among SRWC, Friends of Breakheart, and the Metropolitan District Commission for any major work that may be needed on the trail.

If anyone is interested in volunteering to help maintain the Saugus River Trail, please contact SRWC at (781) 233-5046 or srw@shore.net.

Many thanks to Pat Haney for her efforts to improve this important public resource!
